In this day and age there is always a way … I would recommend you take care of this and put it behind you …

In the era of modern computers, there's always a way to find out what accounts a person has.
The courts can order you to list ALL of your assets if someone sues you and wins their case against you. That form is then turned over to the debt collector. That's in California.

same in wisconsin. far as the asset disclosure form. most bill collecting lawyers have asset discovery depts. public records show property owned such as house, land buisness, vehicals, recreational vehicals etc. if you paid past cc bill by check or online payments they already got your account nos. best thing is keep accounts open but take most money out. dont make deposits. pay bills with money orders. if your paycheck is direct deposit it will be a problem. then its best to open a new account preferably a bank in a different town. you should note it may take 1-2-3 pay periods to straighten out. on payday get most of your money out. never leave more then a few bucks in it.

Other way they use to find your bank account is to start serving the court papers to put a levi in your account to every bank in a 25 miles radius from your residence until they hit it. Just withdraw all the money and cash you pay checks, you can pay your bills with money orders or with one of those walmart pre-paid visa check cards, they can put your pay check in the card every month. I don't use checking accounts any more too many fees and hassles
