National Bank of Abu Dhabi, National Bank of Dubai and Mashreq Bank seem quite good in terms of their money transfer fees.

You might want to check which of these has branches closest to you.

you can do that from any ATM machine (with the ATM card), so of course using the bank own network. You can also use it in any ATM machine in other GCC countries as long as it shows GCC NET logo.

My understanding is that under Sharia, common interest is not allowed.

Islamic lenders are however entitled to share the risk of an investment and receive a payment for this.

Which in effect means that the borrower, instead of having a creditor is finding a "sort of" partner.

I guess that makes islamic banking more interesting for an investor.
